Willy VS Arwin Sudono in Final

Only 2 paricipant from Bandung and both made the final. Wondering what happened with Jakarta Players.


Game 1.

Willy win the Die Roll. both players keeps their opening hand.

Willy open with swamp, while Arwin open with toughtsize and took scion of oona (leaving 2 cryptic command and 2 sower of tempation.

Willy topdeck a bitterblossom and cast it, arwin answer with bramblewood paragon. Willy pass the turn with 3 mana up. Arwin play treetop village , cast llanowar elve and attack with paragon making the life tied at 16.

Again willy pass the turn with 3 mana up. Arwin attack with just the treetop village (13-16). Still no 4th land and he pass the turn. Arwin attack with treetop village, eaten by 3 tokens while nameless inversion got broken ambitioned.

This time willy pass the turn with 4 mana up. Arwin attempt to attack with treetop and paragon, which got tapped by cryptic command.

again willy pass the turn with 4 mana up. Arwin'a treetop village got agony warp at combat phase.

Again no 5th land for willy, he pass the turn. Arwin attempts a imperious perfect, which got remove souled. Arwin nameless a token and attack with paragon, which chumped by a token.

Willy got his 5th land. Thoughtsize arwin, getting cloudthreser, leaving 2 eyeblight ending. sowered the paragon. The life point is 6 for Willy and 14 for Arwin. Arwin eyeblight the sower at his main turn.

Willy pass the turn with 5 mana up. Arwin cast Wven Run Vanquisher reveailing chameleon collosus. Willy lets it resolved. Eot willy cast Scion of oona. Going to 4 at his main phase, Willy sowered the Vanquisher and attack with 2 token and Scion, knocking arwin to 9. Arwin eyeblight the Scion and pass the turn. At his turn willy attack with 3 token sower and vanquisher. The vanquisher got chump by paragon, knocking Arwin to 4. When civic wayfinder got spellsutter sprite, Arwin conceded.

Game 2

Arwin keeps his opening hand, Willy muligan to 5.

Arwin open with llanowar elve. but has no follow up at turn 2. Willy pass the turn with 2 mana up despite having the bitterblossom at hand. Seeing Arwin has no follow up, Willy cast the bitterblosom next turn. Again Arwin has no follow up and pass the turn. Mistbind Clique at Arwin next upkeep championed the bitterblossom since Arwin nameless the only faery token.

Arwin Tougthsize at his next turn and taking Cryptic command, leaving flashfreeze and agony warp at Willy hand. At the next turn Willy toughtsize Arwin seeing terror, eyeblight, wven run vanqusiher, cloudtrherser and profane command, taking terror. Eyeblight ending at eot kill the mistbind. Wven Run Vanquisher got killed by agony warp. Willy cast jace next turn and looking to play the waiting game.

Profane Command from Arwin took a faery token and return the Vanquisher. Mutavault killed Jace at the same turn. Arwin Hard cast vanquiser just got flashfreeze. Vanquiser attack being doublo blocku with mutavault and faery token, and Willy cast agony warp to on vanquiser and llanowar elves. Arwin respond with cloudethresher but got flashfreeze again. and Willy swing with mutavault and a token. Next turn Arwin cast imperius perfect. and another one on the next turn. with 2 imperious perfect arwin's mutavault now is 4/4 and attack willy again with token 3/3, willy make a manuver with double blocking them with 4 creature and combat manuver with agonywarp. but this time arwin evoke cloudthresher resolve makin surviving 2 arwin creature. Arwin building a preasure with making more and more creature. life now arwin 7 and willy 3. On arwin upkeep willy cast mistbindclique championing Bitterblossom. Arwin makes a token and done. but willy top deck Loxodon warhammer again. and swing for 7 to win the game. Nice!
