Final Match Report

It's The Final !
It’s the final match in the first KMC cup Indonesia. And the Two top Deck are 5 color Cruel Control and Rb Deck wins. Where the finalist are Bernhard Hendrawan with 5c and Taufik indrakusuma with RDW. It’s a epic match with long history beetwen this two guys, where Taufik defeat Bern many times in the previous tournament. And everyone anxious to see if this time the curse will go on.

Game 1
Both player start the match by rolling a dice and luck comes to Taufik who win it and play first. Both player keep their opening hand. And Taufik start with droping FoD, then pump swing in turn 2, while bern is building up his mana base. Next Taufik cast stigma lasher but quickly removed soul by bern. But taufik blightning slip away and damage 3 while FoD continuously attacking making bern life total 11. Bernhard then cast Finks to recover some damage and to block the pumped 4/4 FoD. Feeling the preassure, Bernhard cast WOG but that is just to clear the way of Taufik next Demigod taking 5 life from Bernhard. Bernhard still try to recover some life by casting Kitchen finks, and handling the attacking Demigod with condemn, while his kitchen finks blocking Ghitu Encampment, then taufik cast stigma lasher waiting to deal damage so bern can’t gain anymore life. With kitchen finks guarding, Taufik cast lash out to make stigma way, but a cryptic command counter it and bouncing stigma. Taufik begin striking with Ghitu land while Bernhard keep droping Finks to gain life and block it. Finally Bernhard Cast his Oona, Queen of Fae, but taufik keeps making preasure by attacking with ghitu land and mogg Fanatic that he cast droping Bernhard life to 5. Bernhard then activating the queen ability and get 4 out of 6 milling. Which block every creature try to hit him. But a little groggy Bernhard drop his card and show Cruel Ultimatum and Bant charm to the public. But still he attack taufik droping life to 6, Taufik cast Incinerate so Bernhard life down to 2. but his ammunition is depleted so bern still in 2 life and Oona attack winning the 1st game for Bernhard.

Game 2

Taufik keep his hand, but not so lucky for Bernhard with 2 Vivid in opening hand and no other land. He is forced to take a mulligan due to afraid it will be Fulminator. Than keep 6 card. Taufik start with casting stigma lasher then swinging it so Bern can say bye2 to his gain life. And Fulminator did destroy bernland on turn 3 followed by Toughtsize Seeing bern hand and discarding one of the Cryptic leaving negate, condem, bant charm and a vivid land. Bernhard try to evoke muldrifter to search answer but Taufik who drop his 5th land and cast demigod force Bernhard life down to 5. After bant charm the demigod, Taufik cast blightning for the 3 damage, and it was negate. But the next incinerate and stigma lasher hit. Make this round goes to Taufik

Game 3

It’s The final round to see who can kiss the KMC Cup. Where both of them keep their hand. As usual Bern building his mana, while taufik casting stigma at turn 2, and ram gang at turn 3, trying to hit 5 to Bernhard. But this time Bern prepared by casting 2 condemn on them. Having no creature Taufik activated ghitu land to hit 2 damage, and try to do it again but this time bant charm is ready for it. Taufik then cast Bogart Ram Gang but another Bant charm is ready for it. Bernhard is so Controlling the board game. While Taufik can only steal some damage by javelin and attacking with land but OMG another condemn is waiting for it. Taufik then cast FoD to build some preasure. But Bernhard Wrath of God it right away. And as the first game De ja Vu Taufik cast Demigod ready to attack but this time Remove soul is ready for it. And the Queen is back, Bern cast Oona, milling Taufik deck and making little cute faeries to do both attacking and defending, again and again droping Taufik life to 5 and win the game with style by casting Cruel Ultimatum. And Bern finaly break the Curse!
